Stellenbosch veteran goalkeeper Lee Langeveldt got candid about his business ventures after graduating from the PSL Player Transition Programme.

After graduating from the PSL Player Transition Programme, Stellies' 37-year-old shot stopper opened up about his side hustles and how the course will help him sharpen his business acumen.

Langeveldt told SABC Sport's Velile Mnyandu, that he’s in the hospitality and property business and after this Transition Programme, he's looking to expand.

Langeveldt on his businesses

With Lee Langeveldt nearing the end of his professional career, the veteran feels more confident than ever about what he'll be doing after hanging up his boots.

Langeveldt, who has been at Stellies since 2017, spent a chunk of his career in Denmark with Kjöbenhavns Boldklub (FCK II) and has plied his trade for Golden Arrows, Milano United and a memorable spell at Santos.

Speaking to SABC Sport, the Cape Winelands native revealed how he got into the property and hospitality industry:

"Yeah, that started like 10 years ago I bought a house and in the Stellies there's always a shortage of accommodation so I rented it out to students, I have a five-bedroom house, each room I rent out. So, that's one of my businesses. I also have a catering business that I'm busy running at the moment," said the experienced keeper.

“This is what this programme provides, it adds value to things you didn't know, how can you improve? How can you save money to make more money and obviously to put your brand out there. How to do your branding of your business," he added.

Langeveldt not only relished the educational value of the PSL Player Transition Programme, he also got the strengthen bonds and friendships with fellow professionals.
