Arsenal are reportedly planning on spending big on a striker this coming off-season.

Arsenal are already planning for next season, having reportedly drawn up a 10-man shortlist for a big-money striker in the next transfer window.

The Gunners have been free-scoring in 2024. After struggling to find the back of the net at the beginning of the 2023/24 campaign, the north Londoners have now scored 33 times in eight Premier League fixtures in the new year.

This form in front of goal has seen Mikel Arteta's charges become serious contenders for both the English top flight and the UEFA Champions League titles.

No matter how this season plays out, however, they will be looking to make another huge splash in the off-season market in order to land a marquee forward, according to the Daily Mirror.

Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah are currently the only out-and-out centre-forwards at the Spaniard's disposal, and with the latter being increasingly linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners are said to be looking at making a contingency plan.

2023 CAF Men's Player of the Year Victor Osimhen, England international Ivan Toney, RB Leipzig duo Lois Openda and Benjamin Sesko, Swedish sensations Viktor Gyokeres and Alexander Isak, Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez, Brian Brobbey of Ajax Amsterdam, FC Porto's Evanilson and Nigerian hitman Victor Boniface are the names the 13-time English champions are said to be considering signing in the next window.

These are some of the best forwards currently playing in Europe, and any chance of landing them will be significantly improved if they are successful in the EPL or the Champions League this season.
