The Clarets have not endured the best start to life back in the top flight, having lost all three of their opening leagues matches by hefty margins.
One bright spark for the Lancashire side, however, is the emergence of Foster.
While he did not immediately hit the ground running at Turf Moor following his €11 million (R224 million) move from Belgian side KVC Westerlo in January, the Johannesburg native has now scored in consecutive Premier League matches, becoming the first South African to accomplish this feat since Steven Pienaar in 2010.
His vice-captain, Josh Brownhill, only had positive things to say about the ex-Orlando Pirates man's performances recently.
"A little bit of positive, it's obviously nice to score and to contribute," the Englishman said, as per Burnley's official website.

"I'm really happy for Lyle, I think it's back-to-back goals now in the Prem, which is a tough league to get that in, he's a real quality player, so hopefully he can keep that goalscoring form."
