An African star is reportedly waiting on Pitso Mosimane to put him back into the starting line-up following the injury he sustained at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Francois Kamano has not played a single minute of football at Abha Club since the South African tactician's arrival at the beginning of 2024.
This is because the Guinea international suffered a respiratory infection while on international duty in the Ivory Coast with his country.
The winger was still recovering from the illness when he made his way back to the Middle East, and while it looked as though he would return for their most recent Saudi Pro League encounter against Al Tai, having been in full training two days before that match, Mosimane decided against his reintegration as he wanted his star to be 100% healthy.
It proved to be a positive decision from the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly boss as he grabbed his first-ever win in the Saudi top flight courtesy of a 2-0 victory.
That win means the Kagiso native's Abha are now two points away from getting out of the relegation zone, but his next encounter will be against the Steven Gerrard-led Al Ettifaq.
According to Al-Riyadiya, Kamano will likely be fit for that encounter as he looks to make his return, having missed the past three matches for his team.
The same report, however, suggests that while the 45-cap Guinea international may be fit, the decision as to his participation in their next game will ultimately rest on Mosimane.
