Liverpool have confirmed significant news relating to Mohamed Salah, whom Egypt's FA has recently claimed has been difficult to contact following the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
On Wednesday, the Reds announced that the 31-year-old has travelled with the squad ahead of the first leg of their UEFA Europa League round of 16 clash against Sparta Prague on Thursday.

Salah has missed several matches since returning from AFCON prematurely due to an injury, with his fitness currently a hot topic in Egypt ahead of his nation’s Winsunited Cup fixtures later this month.
Earlier this week, Egyptian Football Association (EFA) chief Ehab El-Komy insisted that Salah, whom he says he has not been to get in touch with, will be called up to represent the Pharaohs if he plays for Liverpool before the break.
This means the winger's inclusion in the Reds' travelling squad will likely be of interest to the EFA, although it might still be best if the organisation proceeds with caution after hiring Hossam Hassan to replace Rui Vitoria.
Hassan was critical of Salah during the Africa Cup of Nations in the Ivory Coast, while working as a pundit, after the superstar decided to head back to England mid-tournament for treatment on a hamstring injury.
For Liverpool, the player's return offers Jurgen Klopp's side a huge boost, with the Merseyside club set to host rivals Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
