Orlando Pirates have found out who they will take on in the preliminary round of the 2023/24 CAF Champions League, while last season's semi-finalists Mamelodi Sundowns will get a bye into the first round.
The Buccaneers finished second in the DSTV Premiership behind champions Sundowns last season, making a return to the continent's biggest competition.

Pirates, who reached the final in 2013, will take on Djabal from Comoros in the preliminary round, which kicks off between 18 to 20 August, with the second leg fixtures set to take place a week later.
Pirates will play the second leg fixture at home, giving them an advantage as they look to reach the group stages of the competition.
Pirates coach Jose Riveiro will be participating in the Champions League for the first time and will face a big test in his second season with the club as they look to go one better than they did in the domestic league last campaign, while they are determined to also make a mark on the continent.
Should the Buccaneers beat Djabal, they will take on either Vipers FC from Uganda or Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana, who are coached by South African mentor Morena Ramoreboli, in the next round.
SuperSport United and Sekhukhune United will represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup this season. Matsatsantsa, who have been busy in the market bolstering their squad, will get a bye in the first preliminary round of the competition. They will wait for the winner between Gaborone United of Botswana and Madagascar's Elgeco Plus.
