Orlando Pirates will host Motsepe Foundation League side Hungry Lion in the Nedbank Cup last 16 on Saturday at the Orlando Stadium and head Coach Jose Riveiro has given update on the players who would be missing in that game.

Addressing the media during a Nedbank Cup press conference this week, the Spaniard outlined that there are players who are nursing injuries and facing suspensions.

"Yes we have few players who will be missing on Saturday and most of them are the players who are still nursing their injuries from before. I am talking about Paseka Mako - he is still out. Evidence Makgopa is still out as well and Bandile Shandu is also not available. The other player who will miss the game is Thabiso Lebitso because he is suspended," the coach explained to journalists.

"He joined us when he had three yellow cards from Chippa United and on Saturday against Kaizer Chiefs he got a yellow card and that's why he is out. But Olisa Ndah is back. It was not a serious injury and he will be available for selection on Saturday," Riveiro said.

The coach added that they want to continue with the good form on as they build on from their win in the Soweto Derby.

"We want to be a good version of ourselves. We have to look at many factors and elements of the game where we need to improve and do better. Yes it a cup game but all games are the same and our intentions are to win. In this case we want to win and progress to the next round, as we fight to defend the trophy we won last season," the coach concluded.

The clash gets underway at 18:00.
