Real Madrid have reportedly overtaken treble winners Manchester City as the biggest money-makers in the world following the 2022/23 season.
For the first time in five years, Los Blancos have returned to the summit of Deloitte's annual Football Money League, having managed to rake in a staggering €831 million (R17 billion) last term, which is believed to be €118 million (R2.4 billion) more than they made the season before.
The record European champions are accompanied by rivals Barcelona and French giants PSG as the only non-Premier League sides in the top five of the list.
The Blaugrana are said to have made €800 million (R16.4 billion) in the previous campaign, while Les Parisiens generated €805 million (R16.5 billion) in revenue.

While the likes of PSG and Barca may be gaining ground on the EPL's biggest sides, it is still the English clubs who make up a large part of the list and the Citizens lead the pack in that regard.
The Premier League and Champions League trophy holders were not far behind Los Merengues, though, with Deloitte stating that they managed to make €826 million (R16.9 billion).
Manchester United are their nearest division rivals fiscally speaking, lying in fifth place, with the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Arsenal completing the top ten.
City will be hoping their economic dominance over their league rivals translates on to the pitch as they prepare to take on Spurs in the FA Cup on Friday night.
The Mancunians have never won, across all competitions, at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium, but Pep Guardiola will be hoping this will finally be the occasion he gets the better of the Lilywhites at their new ground.
